C.E.O. Bluebonnet Carriage Company

John Evans Jr. was born in Charleston South Carolina in the early 70’s. He is a military veteran with over twenty combined years of service. During his military career he traveled Europe and the Middle East. He and his partner, Kevin Dodd, have two children; Dylan and Kaitlyn. He holds a Masters Degree in Adult Education and Training; Certifications for Personal Fitness Training and Exercise Therapy.

Krista Evans
Finance Manager

Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Grew up a military brat and has traveled to many places. She has been to Japan, Korea and Turkey just to name a few.
Krista started at Bluebonnet 2 years ago now. She started behind the scenes of the company by taking care of the horses at our ranch and now functions as our finance manager. You can see her downtown at times helping when needed.
In Krista's spare time, when she has spare time she is keeping up with her daughter's activity in cheer. Go Vikings!

Bess Thornton
Barn Manager/Stand Coordinator

Born in San Antonio at BAMC.
Bess has worked for Bluebonnet for a little over a year, starting out working out weekend stand and now functions also as our Barn Manager. She can be found Downtown most nights the stand coordinating rides for our customers on the weekends/holidays or on her husband Spike's carriage.
Bess' hobbies include mothering the horses and belonging to a non-profit historical teaching organization.
